Local Church Ministries

With missionaries spread around the country, Local Church Ministries is focused on helping local churches accurately teach God's Word to their youth. We supply the Bible curriculum and then help train your leaders to teach the youth of your church the truths of God's Word.

Ric Garland PhotoRic Garland- "Ranger Ric"

Ric has served over 30 years with WOL.  Twenty-five of those years have been with Local Church Ministries and five years were as the Vice President of the Bible Institute. He has now returned to direct Local Church Ministries. Ric is a gifted speaker, skilled leader, passionate discipler, and a man of the Word.  He has completed his masters with Baptist Bible Seminary and is furthering his education. He is married to Ellen, his partner in ministry and the love of his life.  He has three children - Nicole, who is now married to a pastor in Valrico, FL; Eric is married and living in Texas while attending seminary and Shannon is still in the home.
